DINI supports the use, spread and development of OAI-compatible archives in Germany by arranging information days and user workshops. Moreover the DINI workgroup supports the information exchange with the international OAI community and the development of OAI-based services. The formerly separated workgroups Electronic Publishing and Open Archive Initiative Support will be joined under the name Electronic Publishing.
