The workgroup 'Webportale' of the DINI will deal with the topic web portals and supports universities with recommendations and with the development of criteria and standards of implementation and in development of appropriate portals. In terms of necessity of integration of different administration applications into the portal (e.g. HIS software) furthermore the workgroup develops standards for interfaces and will influence the development of appropriate interfaces at the manufacturer of these software products.
